This is absolutely incredible... Well worth the watch. Get ready to have your mind blown.
+The Philosopher That"s nasty though. I hope there"s a universe where I get to fuck Capri Cavanni. She"s a pornstar.
And a universe where Peter Hollens says, "Hey, you know what? I"m going to give it a try and collaborate with this Georgiy guy..." :p
Oh wow... We are not alone.
+Meow chill. he was just stating his thoughts you dont have to be a prick.
+Icel4nd3rI don"t think you understand what my comments were saying in the slightest.
Is it weird I cried while watching this...? It"s just so fucking beautiful...
+Suspicious Tumbleweed* And that gives you zero insight on how I perceived the video, I was reacting to his perspective.
If someone cries, you suggest it was because of the music. That"s not his perspective, it"s yours. Unless you"re judging him in the way I"m judging you, which you weren"t! Give it up brah
You (and your problems) are unthinkably insignificant compared to the sheer size of the universe.
Amen, brother.
It"s easy to get lost in that thought, although true we also have a "micro-universe" close around us that would be wise to adjust to. So go and wash your dishes now!
This made me cry. Our universe is beautiful.
It"s not "our" universe

+BornOfUnholyGods damm lying eyes anyway!
Gives one only a slight idea how incredibly vast our galaxies are. How many suns and the enormous distance between. Very good perspective well done.
Much talk has been had about the 4.3 Gigapixel image NASA released of a portion of the Andromeda galaxy as seen from the Hubble telescope. Here is a video to give you a tour of the vastness of space and this one section of Andromeda... all in relation to our night sky. Well worth a watch...

My God It"s Full of StarsOne of the more difficult ideas to grasp in astronomy is the sheer scale of the cosmos. Even as a professional in the field it’s much easier to focus on numbers and data than really step back and appreciate scale. Every now and then there is an image that forces you contemplate scale, such as the Hubble Ultra Deep Field. Now NASA and ESA have released a new image of the Andromeda galaxy. It is the most detailed image of Andromeda ever made, and you can check it out in this video. The total image has about 1.5 billion pixels, and shows over 100 million stars across 40,000 light years. In the image you can see the brilliant swirls of Andromeda’s spiral arms, but when you zoom in the dusty swirls resolve into individual stars. A vast sea of stars.Andromeda is relatively close by cosmic standards. It’s only 2.5 million light years away, which is why we can resolve the galaxy in such detail. But this shows only the brighter stars of Andromeda. It’s estimated that Andromeda contains about a trillion stars, most of which are too small and dim to resolve in this image. We’re still only seeing a fraction of the stars in this galaxy. As you look on this image, keep in mind that this is only part of a nearby galaxy. Our own galaxy would look similar, as would many others. It’s estimated that there are 100 billion galaxies in the visible universe. That’s more than 10 galaxies for every man, woman and child on Earth. Multiply this image by ten, and for all of it there is only one single human being. The same is true for every person on the planet.Images such as these often give a feeling of smallness. Within the vast cosmos we are merely dust upon dust. But to me it demonstrates just how rare and wondrous each of us are. We can look on an image such as this, see the spirals of stars, and we can understand the cosmos.
+Dave Pentecost "It"s the human intellect casting itself out 14 billion light-years. " I would disagree.. Quantum mechanics just recently came out with some data that suggests the universe has no beginning or an end, we should try and question what came before even the big bang. Everyday I am becoming more and more convinced that this universe has no age at all, it has always been there along with its big bangs, or should we call them little bangs compared to the sheer size of the universe.. Imo, it is the thinking mind that has created the concept of space and time. Just look out there, with 100,000,000,000 galaxies out there, you think this universe is only 14 billion years old? That is the beauty of it, the universe has no beginning or end..!
+Georgiy Potulov I like your vision. Maybe it is the thinking mind that creates space and time, and space and time completely transcends the thinking mind, especially in contemplating infinity and the sheer scales involved. I"m sure there have been theories put forward in relation to the minds perception of reality of space and time. Good comment though.
NASA released the largest pic ever taken of the Andromeda Galaxy on January 5, with a whopping 1.5 billion pixels, You"d need 600 HD television screens to see the whole image at once. Know any big sports bars? This YouTube fly-through video shows the detail of the picture captured by NASA"s Hubble Space Telescope. So far, the video has over 5 million page views. (I missed posting this when it first came out.) The full image takes you through 100 million stars (those little white dots) and travels more than 40k light-years. #space #astronomy #scienceeveryday
+Wownerd1265 That"s the single most pedantic thing I"ve ever read.
If there are a Trillion stars in the Andromeda Galaxy, that means there are 100 stars for every Human Being! Manifest destiny! Let"s go get em! Ooops, that just went out over the web... so the natives know we"re coming...... in peace! Yeah, that"s the ticket. We come in peace. ;-)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udAL48P5NJUSeriously, read Phil Plait’s lyrical essay about how fortunate we are to witness such splendor. Now revealed. By our own hands.http://www.slate.com/blogs/bad_astronomy/2015/02/05/andromeda_animation_of_hubble_s_view_of_the_galaxy.html
+AbuserTube Just because it comes to a single point doesn"t mean that the universe is able to fluctuate. This is what I mean by little bangs that happen from time to time.
Do you completely dismiss parallel universe theory?
Is it Andromeda? It is Fantastic? No, it"s:( •_•)( •_•)>⌐■-■(⌐■_■)Andrometastic
Not sure if my joke is popular because it"s funny( =_>=)or terrible.
That comment was Andromelastic, cause, yup, that"s a stretch.
We are less than nothing...
"We are a way for the universe to understand itself" -Carl Sagan
Now this is truly amazing.... I feel extra small in our universe today..NASA recently released a 1.5 billion pixel image of the Andromeda galaxy, our nearest galactic neighbor, which contains over 100 million stars and spans more than 40,000 light years – and that’s just a section of the galaxy. This image, created from a mosaic of 411 Hubble pictures, was then used by YouTuber daveachuk to create this incredible fly-through video. Combined with gorgeous music from the band Koda, it’s an awe-inspiring – and humbling – experience. #nasa #hubblespacetelescope
Nice. Thanks.
Sharpest ever view of the Andromeda GalaxyThis video shows the sharpest ever image of the andromeda galaxy, captured with the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope. It is the largest and sharpest image ever taken of the Andromeda galaxy

Hey,

One of the more difficult ideas to grasp in astronomy is the sheer scale of the cosmos. NASA Has Released The Largest Picture Ever TakenHave you seen the largest picture ever taken? For the record, it"s a mammoth 1.5 billion pixel image (69,536 x 22,230) and requires about 4.3 GB disk space. Oh, and it"ll take your breath away.On January 5, NASA released an image of the Andromeda galaxy, our closest galactic neighbour, captured by the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope. The full image is made up of 411 Hubble images, takes you through a 100 million stars and travels over more than 40,000 light years. Well, a section of it anyway.
This is a very big achievement in the field of Sci & Tech. This is a image of the Andromeda Galaxy. A high resolution photo in the world ever taken. Watch this video and know more about this.Let"s see how many +1s does this get.
+Sree Arravind It"s a science wonder.
Yes..it is
An amazingly beautiful HD image the Andromeda Galaxy, with some indication of it"s size and incredible number of Stars...Andromeda is about twice the size of our Milky-way, and spans roughly 220 thousand light years across. It is thought to contain over a TRILLION stars..... And there are BILLIONS of Galaxy"s in the Universe.....How big a deal are we? Hold on to the real Perspective.
in the vastness of space we are nothing but a speck on a grain of sand or smaller
+Scott ConnorsAbsolutely Scott. In fact, our whole Galaxy, with all it"s hundreds of thousands of Stars, is just an atom in the Universe! When people get arrogant and feel important,I always kindly advice them to look at the universe at night for a while.... The wider Perspective always helps.
Wow, just incredible and plain awesome. Must watch
On my Droid Turbo it was breathtaking.
stop mocking me with your QuadHD screens I"ll get one this year......

Space, the only place where you can see the past in real time.
Waaaaa
From a recent image taken by Hubble of the Andromeda galaxy. From dust we are, and to dust we return. Stardust.
The idea of "you" in the larger perspective is problematic -- "you" are not made of the same atoms you were yesterday... so really, we are not so much born/reborn as in a constant state of "becoming".
I regret that I have but one plus for that comment, +Conrad Rogers.
The scale of the cosmos is absolutely mind-blowing! I am happy to be a part of it, even if just for a moment.
+Sophia Rodriguez If I could stop time then travel as far as I could maybe I could see where the universe is currently expanding. Maybe I would be able to leave the universe. That would be cool. I have no idea what the fuck I"m saying.

You"d think that somewhere in all that mess of stars and planets there"s gotta be a place where the better option to buying more printer ink is NOT to buy a whole new printer.
Brother laser printers are the economical printer, I hear they use 1% as much ink as inkjets.
+GoodNewsJim they actually use 0% of the ink an inkjet uses... Since toner isn"t ink. LOL :)

I Could not Sleep for Thinking of the Sky..I could not sleep for thinking of the sky, The unending sky, with all its million suns Which turn their planets everlastingly In nothing, where the fire-haired comet runs. If I could sail that nothing, I should cross Silence and emptiness with dark stars passing, Then, in the darkness, see a point of gloss Burn to a glow, and glare, and keep amassing, And rage into a sun with wandering planets And drop behind, and then, as I proceed, See his last light upon his last moon"s granites Die to a dark that would be night indeed. Night where my soul might sail a million years In nothing, not even Death, not even tears. - 12 LOLLINGDON DOWNS and Other Poems by John Masefieldvid via +Jesse Powell

ERROR 404: God not found
+mastergamer591 If you want a God more fantastic than this... Fine... But where did that come from?It solves exactly nothing. It explains exactly nothing. That alone makes it completely irrelevant. On top of that it"s just playing God-of-the-gaps... It"s lazy and just a bad strategy historically speaking. Let"s put it this way... Out of all the mysteries we"ve ever solved, none of them ever turned out to be magic or divine in nature.Exactly what makes this time is different? Are you prepared to swallow your words if we do actually figure it out (like we always do eventually)? Claiming that the lack of scientific understanding in a specific field supports your God has the disadvantage of undermining everything when that field progresses.I hope you understand just how weak your argument is.
Here we go I found another person making the world a much worse place to live in.
where is your god now?
God existed before there was "where"
Your civilization did this. Yours.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udAL48P5NJUAlso: http://www.cnet.com/news/sweep-through-nasa-andromeda-image-of-millions-of-stars/Cynical despair is just plain dumb.
Amazingly cool stuff.
Sense of Wonder!
I am so small.....
+The Philosopher I think you"re confusing love with commitment. I"m not for marriages for the simple reason that they sometimes tend to kill the love because both parts feel they have to stick with each other even though they don"t want to. As I told you, love is a mindset or a state of mind, and it can be trained through meditation for example, which is also a really good practice for letting go of destructive habits or thought patterns; it may not feel like much is happening the first times you meditate, but it"s taking you there slowly. Try the app Omvana for example; I can recommend it. This is not the kind of love that you only feel towards only one other person; if you learn to feel this kind of love you can feel it towards anyone or anything (including yourself, of course).
+RelatedGiraffe I"ll try the app, but I still don"t believe in love.
Your problems = nothing

+CTobias Clary I have a really big python named Andromeda. Ruler of men hehe. How appropriate ;)#thuglife
NOW DO SOME OF YOU REALIZE !?!?! Do you now realize how preposterous it is to say there"s no Alien lifeforms out there far more advanced than ours?

And somehow some people still believe that all just appeared out of nowhere... God is great.
+Brian RogersLolz..the god squad don`t need proof,evidence,logic,reason..they believe whatever they want.Witchcraft has a similar basis.
The bible says the earth is 6k years old and the earth was created BEFORE the sun. Lol cmon u can"t really still believe in this BS.
You might have already seen this. If not, you"ll be amazed. I knew galaxies had a lot of stars but always thought much of what we saw was just "dust". Nope. This hi-res photo shows a very close view and confirms the "dust" is trillions of stars. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udAL48P5NJU
I"ve seen this before but it never fails to be absolutely amazing.
Wish I was born few hundred years from now, when technology advanced enough for space traveling, religious people are considered almost non-existing mentally ill minority and human life-span was prolonged for another century. Well, at least I have internet lol.
Something like that, although I am trying to keep away from memes, fedora redditors and so on :D
Well you can still explore the earth. Watching the stars from atop a remote mountain, diving in the coral reefs, all seriously awesome experiences :)
Dude.(via +Paul Thexton) #Andromeda +NASA #Hubble
astonishing photos. we"ll soon be reading newspaper headlines on exoplanets in our own galaxy.
This makes me weep for the future. The pettiness of our current global issues made ridiculous as cave man"s fear of the unknown by the potential one can envision from images such as this.Watch it in as high a resolution as you can.
+robert wheelerI guess you mean in person? I agree. The moon base should be in full swing and an orbiting space station that can be a weekend type getaway should be in place as well. We"ve been held back too horribly long by superstition and greed. On the other hand, it"s also possible we might have put tons of armaments in space and blown ourselves up by now, too. Gotta remember we had idiot fuckwads to deal with like Hitler and that Pol dude and others.
+robert wheeler Don"t get me started.
THIS BLEW MY MIND.A youth group leader at my church showed us this photograph of our galactic neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy. It"s the largest picture EVER TAKEN. It took NASA years to achieve something this big. They took pictures of 411 locations and can"t show the entire thing because that"s how big it is. It takes up about 4.36 gigabytes of space on a computer. In the Bible, it says that the stars in the universe outnumber the grains of sand on a beach. Thinking about those trillions of grains of sand on just a small stretch of beach, that"s hard for humans to even picture. It"s overwhelming, this beautiful universe God has created. +1 if this overwhelms you too. #andromedagalaxy #creation #universe #largestpictureevertaken

Time to go Home
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udAL48P5NJU&x-yt-ts=1421828030&x-yt-cl=84411374NASA recently released its largest, most detailed image of space ever. Taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, it captures the Andromeda Galaxy, one of our nearest galactic neighbors at a mere 2.5 million light years away. The full size image is about 60,000 by 22,000 pixels, a total of 1.5 billion pixels. That’s about 1,000 times the resolution of regular high-definition. This YouTube video zooms in on a specific section of the galaxy and is detailed enough that the telescope can resolve individual stars. All in all, there are over 100 million stars in the photo. Simply breathtaking...
Indeed, +Mahoganee...I think I enjoy the soundtrack as much as I enjoy the image. In case you"re curious, the music is by Koda and the song is called "The Last Stand". You can listen to it here: https://soundcloud.com/kodachrome/koda-the-last-stand
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing +Jonathan Williams!
What are these white points? Planets, galaxies, stars or....?
Well, it´s photo of Andromeda - the galaxy - so, simply, these pixels will be not other galaxies... Planets and moons have not their own light, so yes - the last option is? Bingo! Stars :)

These types of videos are just so awe-inspiring. My breathing and heart rate literally increase whilst watching them.In this one, someone made a video out of the recent huge resolution image data Hubble took of Andromeda.
Ok?
No offence, it"s beatiful, but it looks more like a pixels on the maximalized photo of Andromeda Galaxy than anything else.
+metal87power I agree, I"ve seen people calling it the highest resolution picture ever... It"s not.
+IMythicalEwokI its not the highest revolution image but the biggest most detailed yet
the first picture is real?? (andromeda visible on sky)
Andromeda IS, in fact, the furthest object visible to the naked eye. If you are somewhere far from city lights on a clear night, you can see it as a faint oblong smudge, easily distinguishable from the surrounding stars which are in our own galaxy. I"ve seen it while camping in Death Valley, for example.
+daddyoyo michael omg, must be very beautiful, if I see that I"ll cry haha. but I live in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) and this is impossible here :(, very city lights
that zoom... its all fake. all nasa videos fake ofc .stupids
This video was not put out by NASA. The person who uploaded this panned across the giant image that NASA released. Who is stupid now? I would guess it"s probably the guy who doesn"t know how to form a complete sentence.
Stunning. How small we are!
this is so amazing
Yes +ennia lor mae Rodriguez it certainly is! A real eye opener -

The galaxy next door says:Oh humans, you are nothing but a speck, yet you think so highly of yourselves. You think you own things, material things, of atoms which belong to no one but the universe itself. The same atoms of which you yourselves are made of. You claim land as if it were your own, happy to kill, rape and steal for it. You are ungrateful of the bounty placed before you and horde the treasures you have found. You are nothing but parasites, eating off the flesh of your host. Gaia has been a sick planet lately, but her defenses are arming themselves, and soon an anti-human medicine will be administered and humans will cease to be like that bacterial infection you cure with a little bit of cream. Keep using, keep eating, keep selling, keep fighting, keep arguing, keep yelling, keep screaming, keep buying, it"s all just a moment in time for the universe. Your life is a tiny fraction of one infinite billionth of a sec in its life. Feel small. You are small. In the universe it is so possible to be so much more. You all let yourselves be lead by a few men like cattle, too lazy to survive on your own. You buy food from farms where animals are being tortured. You revel in movies about killing and war. You spend more time worrying about what people are wearing and what color they are than what you can do to make yourself better. It"s all so insignificant. If we could be any clearer, you are all nothing. Please, wake up from your dreams. We are here. Conduit Closing.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udAL48P5NJU&feature=youtu.be
most people cant grasp how much is out there, so we stay focused on our little planet. fighting each other over different beliefs and greed. once we become "one" and not separate nations we can become a player in the rest of the universe.humans have a lot of work to do but extending our life span and communication between humans is progress to becoming one. we are only as strong as our weakest link.. we still have a lot of 3rd world countries.
So do all of the individual dots, as portrayed in 1:27, represent stars?
Yep..it`s scary out there..too much stuff..no reason for any of it
this is exactly why i said a while ago that when people look out there and say "there is no intelligent life" its like looking into the forest and declaring there is no life at all. props to +Amos Stone
Well one is based on math and the other is based on, well, nothing
Theory....for now
I wonder if that is the party the Galaxy that"s gonna crash into our Solar System?
And people still say theres is no God/Creator? From a single point, everything was spread, and is now the universe or multiverses in a constant expansion, and then earth came to be, with all its complexity, cells, nature, order, etc, is like saying, "if i throw a glass into the ground, eventually, it will become 200 tiny perfectly shaped glasses in the same design. And dont let me start on Dark matter lol
+LuayRayn Sorry, I"m not interested in such discussions. The idea of one pure God, Creator, Something or whatever is failed. It is obvious especially in our times for more or less educated men who know history. Because, at least, if you want to have your own Pure God there"s always someone who want to has his own, too. That means permanent wars.Intellect, science could be that connecting idea for all men on Earth, but.. economics, politicians, militaries, idiots and things they bring with theyselfs - ignorance, fears etc.Sorry, not interested, useless, bye.
God is not a real answer because it creates more problems. Even if we assume a God created the Universe, We will have to answer how did God come into existence ? If you say God needed no Creator and always existed, Then the same can be said of the Universe, It needed no Creator and always existed. If the existence of our Universe was one big video game, God is just a one button "Cheat Code" to finish the game and win, Skipping over the important things you learn about the game itself. Sorry but I don"t want to use Cheats to win, I rather play the game completely and have an honest experience with it, However difficult the game may be.
Let"s put Andromeda in perspective.......Andromeda has 1 trillion stars. The human body has 100 trillion cells! Jesus Christ our Creator is awesome!
Facepalm
I stood in AWE in the presence of our ALMIGHTY CREATOR!Great and Mighty is HE, our Elohim
+Jakie Bourg MOVE ALONG PEOPLE! nothing to see here, just another crazy religious nut. DO NOT ENGAGE IN AN INTELLECTUAL DEBATE WITH HER. Just keep on scrolling....they and their absurd ideologies will die out eventually.
+bladebison my nigga
I think I watch this every day, is there a place I can download this video so I don"t have to wait on youtube, sometimes its a bit slow and I like the highest definition for these sort of videos.
nevermind got it.
How can anyone say there is no God when you see this. And all that you see, everyone of those stars apparently came from nothing?????
+banister nisba that"s what god originally was. Now under pressure from science and logic religious people say that god is some "intelligent energy" because the concept of an anthropomorphic god is too ridiculous. In another 50 years the concept of "intelligent energy" will become ridiculous as well
such extension leaves doubt whether God is great or God is nothing
+ryang58 I know, I"m not saying that "god did it" I"m even an agnostic. There is a reason that religion isn"t a science, it requires faith. I was saying you were being a little narrow minded because you weren"t considering that if god is infinitely powerful then any portion of the infinity is going to be negligible when compared to the whole.
+Nubro Zaref yes that commented directed to me is true, i know religion has the element of faith, but what is faith? faith is the full acceptance of something based on faith and not evidence or facts, while i understand this is important to people, it can be dangerous when people make accusations or hateful comments and wont accept facts to contradict what they say as they have all the evidence they need in "faith" because faith is by definition: "strong belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof."the second comment directed to the other guy is a pretty bad thing to say, that god didn"t create aids, and as an infinitely powerful being doesn"t have to stop it (even though he could) because if you do die you get heaven..Well what about the people killed from preventable diseases in places not touched by Christianity and have never heard of god, and believe in their Muslim god or Hindu god, when they die do they get to go to heaven too? because the bible states all un believers go to hell.. this are some reasons i cant believe in a god (at least not the human creations of one)Because these are religious questions whos answers are as varied as the people you ask. everyone has a different opinion on it so how can anyone be right? or who is right and who is wrong?
Mind = blown
WOW!!
All of these stars and galaxies, energy, matter, space/time, simply.....exploded into existence? Out of nothing? What a magnificent scientific explanation.
Amazing, people genetically less intelligent are so unable to comprehend the Big Bang theory, that this is all they can say...
If you had 3 Generations of Kids and Grandchildren, Try explaining them how you and everyone descended from you came from your mothers belly.. The Universe isn"t much different than that.Everything had a point of origin which reproduced itself into existence. What created that Point of origin ? No one knows. But to assume its God would lead to bigger problems because God isn"t a real answer. Then we will have to ask "Who created God ?" which brings us back to the same question of "Who created the Universe ?".. These are not easy answers to know.
Fucking Adobe Flash ! no Hardware Acceleration with old Graphic Cards.Even on my Amd Quadcore with 4Ghz, that Clip dont run smooth with 4k Resolution. Now i download that Clip, and watch it without Frame Drops in a good Player like MPC or VLC
+REALSlutHunter nah man it"s because the video is panning fast and it"s only 24fps and not 60fps like the video should have been. Hardware can"t help the video having a bad frame rate.
How anyone can view this and think we are the only ones in this universe and or the only life is beyond mind boggling. As a science geek, viewing this has just dazzled me.
Im not talking about Andromedia, Im talking about the nearest star.
+Zenek nieważne And yes I already know that ^^
all this and peopel Still think that there is no god
+abdennour khaled Religious people ask the most interesting questions when it comes to Science - "How did Humans come into existence ?" "How did Life come into existence ?" "How was the Universe created ?" "What existed before the Big Bang ?".Science can obviously answer only some of these questions. My point here is.. Religious people fail to ask these same rational and sensible questions back at their own beliefs. They somehow accept Religious Facts as "Normal" and "Unquestionable".Have you ever considered to turn around and ask your religion the same clever questions that amaze you - "How did a Prophet split the Moon into two ?" "How did Angels appear to a man, when there are no Angels today ?" "Where is Heaven and Hell if we don"t see it ?" "Where does God exist and what is the Proof of his existence ?" "If everything must have a creator, Who created God ?" "Why do we face a certain direction to pray when Earth is a Sphere where all Direction point randomly into space ?"
The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows His handiwork. Ps. 19:1
lolz
I believe that there are many nations like us living in their planets for thousands of years and one day we might be able to communicate with them.
U can tell them not to burn whole nations with nuclear weapons and nabalm as done with the japanese civilians and vetnamiese as well as what is going on with irakies and palesteniansAnd we can ask them not to let the tyranies in their world to use their stooges to ignite conflicts in other parts of the wold to steel the tresures of others and to hang all these crimes on others. An advice to you buddy: don"t hide behind an anonymus, express ur thoughts freely without hiding ur identity as if u r ashamed.
+bassamqassam anonymus ? what brought you to that idea ? not your buddy yet, no familiarity, ok ? Oh, I see. You have nothing to say to aliens, coz all you can do is to bring hate to them, to "teach" them with jihad. Think of it.

Ein kleines stück Unendlichkeit für euch :)
Can one look at all of this and not know that it was created? Yes, one can and many do - however, denial of The Creator does not negate His existence. What is truly amazing is the fact that The One who created all of this took time to come here, to our Earth and die for our sins so that we could be redeemed and live forever with Him and truly enjoy all that He has and will create!
What evidence is there that you (and everything else) were not created by God?
For anyone -- ANYONE to say that this universe was created by a god and everything on it is all that is alive is incredibly conceited when you see this, just one galaxy out of millions visible in our skies. +George Saint - did you see his reply? I don"t know for sure, but with that one my appraisal might be on the money
+Simon S, Purveyor of truth & reasonI was just replying to his post in which he tells me how a brilliant AI scientist he is.It takes me a while to write these posts.
Gigapixels of Andromeda
Cool video Steph. Makes me think of star gazing in the karroo :)
this is one of the many reasons i do not believe in god, he supposedly created all of this(fucking huge) for us to just "look at" and having no other life in the universe but us, how boring that would be.
???
Ezt látva már lehet elképzelésünk arról, hogy ha ennyi csillag - ennyi naprendszer - van egy ilyen kicsi részén az égnek, akkor mennyi is az esélye annak hogy nincs máshol élet?
TOTALLY WORTH 3 1/2 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME:Andromeda is our nearest galactic neighbor (as galaxies go). This video gives some scope to the reality of what God has created... and gives me a heart full of wonder at these facts...+ Our God IS greater, stronger, and higher than any other.+ He loves us so much He sent His Son to be one of us.+ He places Himself IN us through faithMind blowing reasons to worship. Thanks for pointing out this video +Guy Kawasaki
Can"t find it. And to be honoust, I just want to troll all you believers. I"d say, take a few grams of freebase DMT and find out whether you still have the same opinion.
+Richard Gomes - thanks for the questions. My faith is not in any statue; it"s in the true and living God revealed in His Son, Jesus Christ (a historical person). If you don"t believe He exists as I do, then we are at an empass.+Bekah McCormack - you are very kind. :) I"ve found that people have to come to every belief (in God or science) without being arm-twisted into it. Otherwise, it"s not really theirs.+cody rockwood - as I"ve said, you are entitled to believe what you want to believe. So am I... ;)+Owen Hemsath - people are people, right? Everyone deserves the courtesy of being treated as one. :)Hey everyone, this has been a fun interaction in it"s own odd kind of way, but I"ll probably be shutting down the comments soon. My desire was to express something I believe for the encouragement of those who agree. I knew some would not agree with my perspective on this, and that"s OK with me. I wish you all good day and a great life!
It"s amazing-the power of GOD. Im shaking and my hairs on the back of my neck are standing up. Praise to the Lord! The almighty King of Creation!!!
+ryang58 maybe if you will not keep identifying term "god" with its religious image, it"s gonna be better. atheists recognized narrowness and locality of religions, but behind this term (god) itself it may be something wider, something that we would never imagine, who knows. i"m completely not about religion now. just guessing
+Artem Kolesnikov I look at god and hes association with manThe Christian God, the Jewish God, Islamic God, Greek and Roman Gods. All of them are conveniently supreme beings that give people "legit" power to rule peopleThe Spanish and the English monarchs for instance are still in power today, they still claim divine mandates to rule. up until the end of WW2 the Japanese emperors were considered gods them selvesI understand what you are saying, and believe me i am not narrow-minded when it comes to knowing what "God" is, i have and still am studying many of them. The more i do the more i realise the term God and any deeper meaning to it only varies slightly depending on where you are in the world and which god the person believe in.All these god"s are given meaning and power through belief, each and every single one of them, people believe what they want to believe, i choose to believe in science, facts and truth rather then ancient " myths" of whos ethnic groups god created by them in the bronze age is the real godI see all religions and gods from the same unbiased view and critic them on what i know, there are over 2400 different deities in the world that each have there own following system and creation story and claim to be divine. some people on this post for example, and in the world happen to believe in Jesus Christ. A Jewish man that altered a few things from the jewish faith and they called him messiah and at his time of death gathered a large following that has lead to Christianity. (there is plenty more detail of course) But this rise in this faith is not uncommon to the start of others, it just so happens to be more successfulPlease dont even get me started on the bible the holy doctrine of Christians that is the exact word of god. it would only further prove my point.Sorry for the long reply
