I'm honestly not a big fan of In'N'Out. One just opened up near me (Texas) and I visited. It was packed so my initial thoughts were, "Oh wow, maybe this is going to live up to the hype." Nope. It wasn't bad, I didn't mind it. But it was definitely nothing close to the taste bud orgasm that people had made it out to be. It kinda reminded me of a Sonic Drive In burger, aside from In'N'Out having higher quality ingredients and smaller portion size. In'N'Out's fries were sub-par. I'm not sure if the guy manning the machine was just off his game the day that I went, but they were, in my opinion, disgusting.

General term for a sandwich with french fries on it is a fat sandwich. They're popular around college campuses, and originated at Rutgers. The fat sandwich equivalent of Rhett's McDonald's...thing, is a Fat Cat with Chicken Fingers.Personally, I always went with the Fat Darrell (Chicken Fingers, Mozzarella Sticks, Marinara sauce and french fries.)

maybe its because i live in California and have my whole life but i don't think in n out is that great. in fact i think its over rated and their fries are flavorless and gross   #sorrynotsorryaboutit

its because most fries have something done to them that adds more flavor, in n out fries are literally cut put in some water and then put in the fryer, so they are just fried potatoes with no seasoning or anything. they do give you a packet of salt so you can add that yourself, but basically if you want to try in n out fries just chop up a potato into fry shapes and put them in the fryer and thats it

In-N-Out is phenomenal. If you're reading this comment and haven't had In-N-Out.. Stop reading, and go get some tasty meats, if it's a thousand miles away, still, get it. All those miles are worth it for a burger and some fries from there.

I LOOOVE In n Out. My husband, who has celiac disease has never had it, because he's only ever lived in Massachusetts. He's coming with me to my home town next year ( Las Vegas ) and I'm going to treat him to In n Out. They have a special 'Allergy Button' that they press so that people know to take extra precaution for certin allergens including wheat. I'm SOOOO excited for him to try it.
