They're grid patterned fried dough. square grid pattern, usually round or squared full size.  THey're actually a bit like the bottom of some shoes these days (since some brand was actually concieved using a waffle iron supposidly)and yeah.. waffle shaped is the worst description for that haha.

My favorite cliche that wasnt in this video is the car starting or revving the engine and it sounds like a Ferrari engine no matter what the make is, even when the car clearly does not have the capacity to make that sound.

Designated weapon is pistols (if weapons are involved) and have the character be basically unstoppable like bulletproof explosion proof etc. also have the main character be a bad dad, that one comes along every where
