that was wrong you shouldn't teach kids untrue thing it takes the earth 365 and 1 quarter to rotate around the sun whilst spinning on its axis not 365 days!!thats why every 4 years we get a leap year which is an extra day in febuary this is because 4 quarters equals a whole making another day

+Andy Smedley we know that.......... i think they just estimated it to 365 days because i think they exclude the leap year...........just my guess though............................

BTW stampy you got the part about a year wrong- the earth takes 365 and a quarter days to orbit the sun. That why theres a leap year every 4 years, because the 4 quarters add to make 1( and a leap year is 366 days, so 1 more fuan à regular year. Hope this helps any 'wonderers' out there!
